How far along: 15 weeks
Gender: Technically we could find out this week (and any time after) via ultrasound, but I think we might have to wait until the 20 week anatomy scan just because the private ultrasound place we want to go to only does scans on Thursdays when we’re both at work. But the wait is driving me crrraaazy!
How big is baby: About the size of an orange, or 4 inches. Weight is about 2.5 ounces. All of a sudden, my baby bump has popped out! I’m so so excited!
Newest baby developments: Little Babeski can wiggle his fingers and toes and his eyes can sense light now. Plus, within the next week, he can start hearing my voice!
Movement: It’s all still kind of random (some days I feel little flutters and some days there’s nothing at all) but I can’t wait for the movement to become more consistent and strong. π
Weirdest symptoms: My lower tummy sometimes feels a bit sore, like things are stretching (which they probably are). But no other symptoms besides that.
Best moment this week: There were lots of great moments this week! I got to spend time with a few friends and it was Alex’s brother’s birthday on Thursday so we all went out to dinner which was fun! Plus, I spent some time researching things we’ll need for the baby this week and we decided which brands we want for quite a few of them.
Worst moment this week: Super boring day on Friday at work but even that wasn’t so bad. π Life is pretty great right now!
Cravings: Still that one Mexican place (El Pollo Supremo). Luckily, I’m heading there in just a little bit to eat a bunch of delicious food with the besto!
Looking forward to: So many things! Especially Alex’s birthday next week.Β : )
It was truly the best afternoon! ππ I’m stuffed now! Haha
