(Happy 23rd birthday to my Alex!!!)

How far along: 16 weeks
Gender: I’m trying to set up an appointment with a private clinic but we keep playing phone tag and it’s making me crazy lol. I work during most of their open hours so it’s been a hassle to figure out. Hopefully we can set something up for this coming week, though!
How big is baby: About the size of an avocado, or 4.6 inches. Weight is about 3.5 ounces. Steadily getting bigger!
Newest baby developments: Little Babeski is most likely listening to my heartbeat and my voice by now (which is so much fun because Alex has been talking to my belly and giving the baby advice haha). Hair is staring to grow, including eyelashes and eyebrows, and he’s getting stronger muscles every day.
Movement: This whole past week I’ve felt some movement (even if it’s just a little) at least once a day. 🙂 It usually happens when I’m sitting still or laying on my back and it feels like little squirms and tiny pokes. He’s probably moving a lot more than I realize but hopefully I’ll get to feel all that very soon as he gets stronger.
Weirdest symptoms: Nothing really out of the ordinary. But those darn prenatal vitamins make me so sick if I don’t have anything in my tummy before I take them. So annoying.
Best moment this week: Yesterday was so much fun! We went to my parents’ house and brought Charlie with us (it happened to be his first birthday). We all just hung out, had Alex open some gifts from my family, ate breakfast for dinner, and sang happy birthday to my boy. 🙂 Such a good day!
Worst moment this week: Umm…nothing? It was all pretty great!
Cravings: Not really having any cravings. Sometimes I just really want pizza or whatever but I feel like that’s pretty typical of me haha.
Looking forward to: Hanging out with my husband today on his birthday. Oh, and hopefully getting that ultrasound set up finally.
